He took a deep breath, his body and mind were at peace really. He shouldn't have been though after what occurred that day. as he laid on the hospital bed, he stared at the ceiling for a moment, then closed his eyes. Someone had done something to him, he wasn't sure who, but he knew when. He was practicing in the quidditch pitch. everything was like normal . HE came down from a run through. A few of his teammates with him. Taking a few sips of water, Simon then went back into the air. ten minutes later, he began to feel weird and managed to get low enough to ground before falling off due to unconsciousness to where he didn't break any bones. He did fracture his ankle and he needed to be drained of whatever was placed in his drink. he wasn't told what it was, he wasn't sure if the nurse really knew. but he felt at peace, something he could get confused with depression at times or vice versa. they either gave him a bit of everything, something to hide whatever was really going on, or he was alll better and this was just a side effect.

Joey rushed into the hospital, nearly being taken down by some first year in a wheel chair that she didn't see right in front of her. Her eyes were on Simon. She pushed a few nurses out of the way and finally reached him and hugged him as tight as she could. "Simon! What in the hell happened to you?" She asked with a worried look on her face.
She looked at her best friend and looked around at everyone staring at her oddly. "He's my best friend for goodness sake!" She snapped. "What can I do for you?" She asked, grabbing his hand. She looked down at his ankle and pouted. She didn't like the thought that someone hurt him. Not at all.

"Shh.. calm down.." He said slowly and softly. "calm down.." He looked towards her hand which had grabbed ahold of his franticly. He placed his other hand over hers. "I'm fine.. it could have been much worse.." His eyes moved up to hers and then around at the others who were still staring at them. "Best friend.." He stated with wide eyes. They looked away, but he knew a few of them would probably end up trying to listen in on what they were saying. People around here were nosey.
Letting going of her hand as she laid there. "IT's not like I can't move.. it's just an ankle.. After a nights rest and a bit of bone repair potion I'll be fine.." He looked around not seeing their other friend and ignore it. "I figure you'd be estatic give you an advantage for the next match.." He joked to lighten the mood. She was taking it way out of line, or so he thought.

Joey took a deep breath. "Sorry...I overreacted. But I was calm at first when Professor McGonagall told me. And then as I went down to the Hospital Wing, I kept hearing crazy rumors ending in that you fell to your death," She said with a shrug. She kept holding his hand and ignoring the people trying to listen in on them.
Such nosey people, they were. She smiled when he repeated what she said. "Well duh you're my best friend," She said with a laugh and took a deep breath. He was okay and that was all that mattered. Joey had lost a lot of people in her life. If she lost Simon or Kennie....she'd probably die. "I'm sure Ken is on her way," She said. "What happened?" She asked, keeping calm.

He smiled placing his fingers through hers to comforther. " I am not sure.. one minute I had control of my broom the next I didn't. I managed to hang out and get the broom to lower a bit.. then i remembered feeling pressure and the next thing I realize I was waking up here.. Apparently I fell off my broom." He ran his thumb against her hand. "I'm fine though.. " He wanted to make sure she was still ok, seeing his grip on her hand was tight. Not that he didn't mind it.

Joey nodded, biting her lip a little trying to figure out what it sounded like. Why someone would go after Simon in the first place was beyond her. Maybe someone was trying to make sure he didn't play in any games for a while. Probably a Slytherin. She wrinkled her nose and curled up beside Simon. She knew he was okay and she was okay now. But she wanted to hug him. Lately she always wanted to hug him. She noticed that they weren't spending as much time together like they used to. He was always brushing her off. But that was that. She would still be there for him no matter what. "Good..." She said quietly.

He dind't smile as she craweled onto the bed to lay next to him. Seriously, it was like she thought he was dying. IT was a weird feeling, which caused him to be a bit stiff next to her. Usually it didn't matter, He could lay on the grass with both girls using him as a pillow and it would be fine, but this was different. He allowed his body to relax hoping she hadn't noticed. He took a deep breath and exhailed , his eyes watching the top of her head. "Just watch the leg.." He said lowly, knowing she'd probablky pass out next to him. He had noticed that she could wear herself out when she was nervous or stressed, which caused her to either get cranky or sleepy. It was was one of those things he loved about her.

Joey sighed and laid her head on his shoulders. She couldn't help that she had gotten stressed. Death stressed her out quite a lot. Even though she didn't remember what had happened to her mother, she sometimes found herself having nightmares. Lights flashing and a scream. She was very lucky that her own Godmother had found her instead of one of the death eaters. The thought made her sick to her stomach. "Sorry I panicked," She said softly, being careful not to hit his ankle. It was a good thing that she was quite graceful when she wasn't slightly panicked. She began to giggle hysterically at herself. It was something she did often after she had gotten her head clear.

"It's fine.."He stated, still not understanding why she was on his bed or the fact a nurse hadn't said anything. He kept stairing at the top of her head. His eyes filled with this look of admirarion. Yet it was a look that said so much more and he didn't even know it. No wonder people thought they were dating, if he ever noticed how he looked at her , maybe it would be the push to ask her out. "Besides for being worried about me.. how are you?"

Joey hopped off right before Madame Pomphrey came in and into the chair beside the bed. She was blushing and didn't know why. She felt butterflies in her stomach that she hadn't felt before. Not even with Cedric. She took a deep breath and smiled at him. "I'm...fine...a little nervous about Quidditch practice. I've never lead a team before. In my school before this, I was alway picked last," She shrugged and watched as Madame Pomphrey checked Simon out.
"I have a few ideas though for how we can win," She said with a little bit of confidence.
(OOC: Sorry my posts have been a bit short. I'll try to write a better one after this one lol)

"Well wouldn't want to be sharing them with me now would you.." He smirked as his eyes went from Madam Pomprhey to Joey. He gave a slight smile and then a weird face towards He ok he small glass he was given. Just as he wasabout to drin kit, he was told he might want to pinc hhis nose, so he did so. It tasted aweful, but it wasn't that much of amount. IT would have been more if a lot more bones were broken. 'Now this' said the nurse and his eyes went from the nurse to the next little container. Drinking it, he then took a deep breath. Thinking he was done with drinking concocsions he looked wide eyed towards the Madam before looking and seeing it was only a glass of water. She didn't explain what the potions he had taken were for.. and he wasn't about to ask. 'any horrible symptoms just call for me' said the nurse before moving out of the room. He took the glass of water as he sat there , with a pillow behind his back. Taking sips of water, he took another deep breath, following a loud exhale.

Joey watched Simon taste the nasty healing potions. She knew because she had to take them once when she fell out of her tree by the lake. Well, she knew about the bone healing potion. She hadn't been cursed or poisioned before yet. Luckily, she remained pretty out of the way when it came to bullies unlike when she was in grade school. She sighed and put her chin in her hands, watching her best friend drink the water. Simon was always strong and hardly made a big deal about much when she was around. That was her job. To be the one that freaks out whenever he didn't. They sat in silence for a while and Joey was getting antsy. She hated sitting in one place for long. She stood up and sat down beside Simon on his bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Tired.." He said, placing his arms around the girls waist, he forced her backwards so that she could lay besides him again. He knew her well enough to know she had been more comofortable laying down than sitting. He then drank the rest of the water and placed it down on the table beside the bed. "So.. where the barbie doll anyway" He was talking about Ken. It was his little nickname for the girl. She did look like she could be the model for a barbie doll.

Joey sighed happily and laid back down beside him, closing her eyes and then looking up at his face as he spoke. She was a lot more comfortably laying down. Especially beside him. She was starting to come to terms that maybe...she had feelings for him. Joey didn't want to tell him of course. He obviously didn't feel the same about her. Most guys didn't. She was always the little sister or the best friend. Never the girlfriend. She nuzzled against his shoulder a little and nearly didn't catch his question. He was always calling Kennie barbie doll because well...she was blonde and tall and looked like a model. It usually made Joey quite envious. "I don't know, actually. Probably still in class or on her way. McGonagall hadn't told her yet when she found me though," She shrugged.

He smiled and placed his chin over the top of her head. He liked the feeling of her being close, probably too much. He had to change the temperature of his body before the pleasant feelings he was having would be bissible. He thought about cold showers, nd other relaxing things. He allowed his eyes to shut as he drifted in an out of sleep, His eys flashed open as if his body told him to be on alert. and he moved his chin away from her head. Instead his cheek rested against her head,
"I bet your happy about getting out of class early.. What classes are you getting to miss for this little meeting."
