Yes, she could get annoyed at times. But it occurred more at home than here at school. Her thoughts were on home, yes she remembered the times where she felt tense at home, but she loved her family very much. She looked over towards a girl who seemed to be talking to a statue. She raised an eyebrow, but didn’t approach the girl; instead she continued to walk down the corridor. Getting to the staircase, she moved up to the second set of stairs, waiting for the stairs to appear. She liked Hogwarts; it was such a big place. She knew there had to be some sort of secret passages; anyplace as big would, especially if the castle was under attack. Her eyes moved to one of the painting. The usual man who sat in a chair wasn’t in his chair. She turned around, as the staircase began to move once more. Her eyes looked across a few rows of paintings, till she saw the man visiting a woman.

Charlotte was coming down the stairs, she had just been dismissed from Arithmancy, with no homework for the evening. Professor Vector was the best, and needless to say, her favourite teacher at the moment. Everyone else had given the fifth years hours of homework to complete. Charlotte did know that they would be taking their Ordinary Wizard Level tests this year (more commonly referred to as OWLs by students and faculty alike), but they were ages away, and wouldn't be taken until spring. But Charlotte was going to be prepared for them, unlike her over-celebrated sister, Elizabeth. The only thing her twin was good for was being popular. And good at Quidditch.
But still her good marks on last year's exams had been overlooked because Elizabeth had increased her Charms grade to a mere Acceptable while Charlotte had gotten an Outstanding on everything. Of course she was a little bitter about it, but perhaps if she did the same on OWLs, her parents might pay her a bit more attention because she was actually intelligent. Charlotte continued down the stairs, not even looking at the other girl, she would pass by without a word from either party, like always. Nobody bothered to speak with her. Except for the other day in the library where she had met the seventh year Gryffindor, Charles Height. But that was different.

the staircase was moving, she didn't realize anyone else was on the stairs due to the fact she was staring at the portrait trying to find the man that disappeared in his. she looked towards the top part of the stairs, wanting to see how long it would be before the stairs aligned. she ended to get up another flight of stairs. As she turned to look, she noticed the ravenclaw walked down towards her. she was pretty, a year younger than her and was involved with quiditich. anyone that liked quidditch or on a team, she kept track of. Or well atl east learned their name and what they looked like. one day she hoped to have a gathering, a party of sorts for all those who played quidditich. 'hi, your charlotte right/ i'm sara-may. you like quidditch right?"She gave a warm smile and allowed it to fade. Yes Sara-May was a bit quirky. people had told her she'd get along with Luna Lovegood, but she didn't see why and hadn't really met her .She wasn't reallyy like Luna, maybe there was a few personality similarities, but she was definatly not her twin or even related.

Charlotte adjusted the stack of books that she carried in her arms, kept close to her breasts. Just so she wouldn't drop any of them. There was nowhere near enough room in the bag slung over her shoulder for them, even though she had enchanted it to hold more, but she had not done the spell properly, it was supposed to be able to hold anything, but Charlotte had messed something up. But she didn't mind carrying a few books. She stumbled a bit, she had never been coordinated enough to walk down the stairs while they were changing positions, she preferred to wait until they had settled themselves before continuing, just to be sure she didn't fall, that could be potentially painful.
Hi, you're Charlotte, right? I'm Sara-May. You like Quidditch, right? Charlotte was confused. How was it that the most random of people knew her name? Like Charles, for instance. She had a fairly decent memory, and she could not recall being introduced to a Sara-May before. Perhaps names spread a bit more quickly around Hogwarts than she thought. Quidditch? She didn't really care for it too much. She had been told she had the makings of a good Seeker, but Charlotte preferred to spend her spare time in the library, catching up on homework. "Um, hi," Charlotte said quietly. "Erm- Quidditch is all right, I suppose."

"Oh...ok..must be the wrong Charlotte then.. someone was just telling me about a charlotte in Ravenclaw that loved quidditch.." She allowed her wide smile to fade into a normal face. "I'm sorry I bothered you." The girl looked like she didn't want to be bothered, which was fine. As soon as the staircase would settle, her trip upstairs would continue and she would go up a few more flights of stairs and then grab a forgotten book and then walk all the wayd own. The staircase though couldn't seem to decide which way it wanted to go. As it began to go back to it's original position, it decided to go back in the direction it had gone before.

Well, that was certainly odd. She didn't feel that she had a necessarily common first name. But perhaps the name "Charlotte" was a bit more popular than she realized. But at least she had a semi-unique surname, she had never met someone that was of no relation to her named Winthrop. Charlotte liked being unique and different, even if nobody appreciated it. Sara-May seemed to be a nice enough person. If Charlotte were more out-going, she might have stopped for further conversation, but she really did not want to be late for her next class. Another one of her favourite subjects, Charms. She was good with them, just like most types of magic. But that wasn't appreciated either.
Most likely because she wasn't Elizabeth. Nobody seemed to notice anything that she did, simply because she was not the favoured one of the Winthrop twins. Charlotte had never really cared until the beginning of her fifth year. But there wasn't a thing that she would be able to do about it. She sighed quietly. "All right then," said Charlotte. "I'll just be on my way then." She continued down the stairs, grateful when they finally decided where they were going to settle so she could keep going on her way to Charms class.

"ok... well If you ever see me in the halls don't be afraid to say hi" She gave a warm smile, and a happy shrug of her shoulders. She turned around and started to walk up stairs and then slowed down. As she piveted to turn back towards the girl she began to speak.. "Umm.. if you decide you like quidditch I'm thinking about having a get together .. a quidditch party.. really. I just have to see how many people might show up and talk to the head about it.. " Her eyes looked towards the ravenclaw. "Just think about it and get back to me.." She said with a warm smile. Her hand went towards the locket Cedric gave her, She placed it near her mouth and gave a warm smile as she turned around and went up the staircase.
