Kennie had had a bit of a headache all day, but over the past hour, it had gotten worse. The environment of the Great Hall during supper was much too loud for her that evening, every noise sounded ten times louder than what it should have been. Not wanting to go and see the nurse, Kennie had decided she would go to bed extremely early that evening and sleep it off. It was only when she had gotten down to the basement corridor that the dizziness struck. She held her hand close to the wall, just in case if she lost her balance. Her knees were trembling.
The walk to the Hufflepuff commons was a long one, but she finally made it, only to find them mercifully empty. Kennie seated herself in her favourite armchair by the fire, and loosened her tie with fumbling fingers. Kennie closed her eyes and rubbed her temples, she did not posses the will to get up and get all the way back to her dorm. It was just too far away. Kennie felt too unstable to even get out of the chair. Hopefully she would regain her strength by the time supper was over...
