(Story)
Personality: To whom he selects as friends (which would only be who he trusts) he is rather kind to, generous. On the contrary, to most people they are shut out of his world. Not able to trust many after a long life of living with his Aunt Selestrine and no friends nor mother or father... Kolby has a slightly conceded, quick tempered attitude.
Will he learn to socialize within the halls of Hogwarts, or will he follow down his family's path? These are the conflicting natures within Kolby Denovan today.
Flaws: Sheepish to new people, very conceded, tendency towards violence, loves to learn so much that he'll shut others out to merely study one or many subjects, daydreams.
Past: Kolby Denovan was happy with his parents, but once the Dark Lord found out that Serene was pregnant during an avid time of the Wizard War, she was sent out the rest of the War until her child was born. Kolby's father chose not to be a Death Eater, but to stay home to take care of matters and to keep his family from being arrested. Serene gave birth to Kolby, and plead the Dark Lord that in due months time she could help again, and let Dolores take care of the child.
Humbled, a few years later Selene was given a mission. The details of this mission was unknown but it was the leading cause of her death.
Dolores, alone, attempted to raise Kolby without a mother. Time went by and the Dark Lord soon fell to an infant of all sorts!
This led Aurors to Kolby's house, taking away his father. Unknowingly to the Aurors, Selestrine was in the shadows, ready to help take care of the young child...
Spells flew by from behind the two Aurors and two others that were to take the child to safety.
1 Stunned, 2 Dead, the other non-Auror fled. It mattered not who was who, but Selestrine took the child and barked at Dolores to follow. He did not want his child to live a life of hiding and possible dark times. He approved of Voldemort, but not now. He was fed up with hiding, lying, and his family killing. Selestrine then cackled. Stating how foolish she was, instead of killing him, she flicked her wand, then slashed it in the air, causing whips to hit him (of course magical) and then blood gushed from the wounds and suddenly appeared all over his body. She cackled, threw the Dark Mark in the air and apparated quickly away.
Kolby then lived with his strict Aunt who taught him how to control and live a life of magic. She taught him not only the basics but also complicated spells, hexes, curses, and many more of the Dark Arts.
Kolby was fascinated, but he never cared.
What is the point in learning this? That Voldemort fellow is dead, she's becomming a hag, and I always hear how terrible it is to put curses on people... illegal, some of them!
And as time went by, a letter from Hogwarts came. Selestrine forbid it, stating it was an evil school of brainwashing.
Kolby ran away, finding his way to the Platform, and going to Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, etc using what little money he had.
Informing the school professors of his problem, they let him stay all except for summer... where he would go back to his Aunt's to feel the wrath of an ex-Death Eater.
She was, however, never arrested. Nobody really knew why.
As time went by, Kolby went to Hogwarts for knowledge and merely that, doing well. Normal. He excelled in Potions, DADA, and Transfiguration, but was terrible at History of Magic and Magical Creatures, but was okay with Charms and Divination.
Funny.
Realizing he has never made a real friend, it is now his 7th year at Hogwarts, his aunt gives up on keeping him home, even though that dreaded Harry Potter is two years below him.
But why does she not care? Why does she seem happier?
Voldemort.
Last year he rose to power, and now his word is being spread secretly through all old Death Eaters.
Kolby wasn't sure what to think... the man his mother approved of and died for in such a noble manner, while his father died trying to keep his son away from such a world... and his auntie... while Hogwarts hated him, and the children feared him... and Harry Potter...
Kolby soon did not know what to think at all. He wanted friends, he wanted to be known, but yet, he believes his Aunt may leave the home soon... he believes she may try to take him with her...
Conflicting attitudes and lives are now plaguing this Senior member of Hogwarts.
How will he cope? Will he make friends, fall in love... be a normal student? Or will his aunt force him or persuade him to join the Dark Side of life, allowing Voldemort to have student Death Eaters within Hogwarts?
Only time will tell... only time will tell...

An emotionless face stares at the book he just dropped.
Everyone walks past him as if he is some ugly troll.
He bends down slowly, picks it up with his paler hands. Putting it back into the pile of books propped soundly between his side and arm, he fixes his hair and takes a deep breath.
"What a day..." murmurs Kolby Denovan, while strolling down the corridors, alone, to Transfiguration class. Buzz has been going around that Harry Potter dueled with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Yet the Ministry ensures everyone that he is not back.
Strange.
Edging closer and closer to the classroom, Kolby's face seems emotionless, as if he is just there. Inside his mind many thoughts are riveting this 17 year old student. Especially the memory of his beloved Auntie.
"You best get perfect marks in school this year! I damn well let you in this bloody school and you best learn all you can! Even the Dark Lord went here, I'm sure it isn't so bad... He is back you know! Back! Back! I hope I am summoned soon. You will meet him, boy. Your mother didn't die for no reason! School may be important but if the Dark Lord is back-" Shrills his Auntie....
Why does it matter? Voldemort is portrayed terrible here, yet to her, he is an idol! I have no one to really ask, no one to get anther opinion from... Bloody Hell, what to do?
His mind was racing with thoughts all the time.

He arrived upon the olden door. His hands, now rather shaky, attempted to open the door. Odd that it was closed today. Pulling it open, only a handful of students were in the room at the moment. More were to pile in. No one attempted to start conversation. A few girls stared at him and gossiped. The Professor even merely just gave him a nod.
"Today Class, please open your text books to page 345; Transfiguring Objects to Living Things. Today I will sho-"
