Personality:
Ronan has always been known to be a natural flirt, using his looks and accent whenever he needs or for whatever he needs. In school, he was always very popular, playing on the Quidditch team, being one of the tops in his class. The people he graduated with learned to respect him and even look at him as a role model. Ronan was always able to get along with just about anyone, except of course for most of the Slytherin kids, who found it fun to pick on other kids. Now, Ronan is normally pretty quiet, he will speak to certain teachers about certain subjects but normally wont speak to much about himself. His relationship with his students is about the same. He shows extreme favoritism to the students who do better in his class, and will normally only speak to them about class work. Ronan is very level headed and has a very good hold on his temper unless students like to act out and mess around. Then he can be very strict and very rude to said students.

Past:
Ronan had the younger life of any normal witch or wizard that was of full blood. He was born in a small Irish town to his two full Irish rooted parents. There was no secrets, no hidden feelings, it was almost perfect. His parents both worked for the Ministry of Magic almost their entire careers. They were the crime scene investigators of the Ministry. Together they would solve crimes, putting away men who deserved it. And this is where the almost perfection comes in. Because of their constant need, their constant lust for the thrill of the fight. They were almost never home with their children. Magic was always needed to keep their house standing for many years. Until the children would get older and could handle themselves.
Ronan being the youngest of three children, he was of course the last one to get his letter to Hogwarts. And like the rest of his family. He was instantly placed in the Ravenclaw house. His next seven years were spent studying a lot, and being one of the top of his class. Not only was he a smart guy in the classroom, he was a smart guy with the girls. Ronan was a giant flirt, and almost always had a girlfriend. His Irish accent would make the women melt in the palm of his hands. With age though, Ronan matured and graduated from Hogwarts as a single male on the streets. After a short stint in the Ministry, he quickly figured out that like his parents and older sister, the Ministry work was not for him. His urge to be back at Hogwarts was still there. He wanted to teach. For 4 years he waited and waited for the opportunity to become the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. And finally he got his chance, jumping at it at the first site. Ronan was finally getting his chance to show his family what he was made of.
