Personality: For most people, Violette has never shown her sweeter side to them. Mostly because, they don't matter enough to her. She does, however, have a sweet side that she shows to her family and friends. Vi doesn't always get all angry all the time and constantly stalk out of the room for every little thing. She can be sweet when she is in the mood. She'll actually TALK to people, instead of scream, and she actually does things for people. She'll help her mom around the house, and participate with the family in anything they do. Whether it would be cleaning, sports, or just messing with each other.
Violette has an extremely jealous side. Especially when it involves new gadgets. For some reason, she always likes to get the latest new and cool gadget. It's like an obsession to her other than being fashionable. Vi is an open-minded person and very understanding. Her friends usually come to her to get some advice when actually she really needs some.
Miss Devereux is a very stubborn woman. She doesn't actually listen and obey what other people tell her and does whatever she wants. Don't get into a fight with this girl though, she's strong enough to last in a fight and don't even try talk back to her...she will eventually beat the person with her witty comebacks. Plus, being a charismatic person, she catches people's attention and they listen to her. And that's the attitude that makes her get what she wants.
Flaws: Jealousy, Temper, Bad at Herbology and Divination.
Past: On the 22nd of May Caroline Devereux brought Violette Devereux to life. As a child, she had caught many people's attention, mainly because of her icy blue eyes. Vi had spend a pretty much normal childhood and being an only child, her parents had spoiled her. However, she never turned to be one of those rich snobs and actually cared about people. When she turned eight, the worst thing happened. Her grandmother died in front of her by a Death Eater. Until now, the girl has no idea why she was murdered. The scene in which the Death Eater casted the Killing Curse kept haunting her in her dreams till today. She is still trying to seek the reason behind it all.
Violette received a letter from Beauxbatons stating they would accept her in the school. She got so excited and jumped up and down and hugged her parents. Violette adjusted in the school quite fine with the help of her cousins Fleur and Gabrielle. She started to look up to Fleur while jealous of her beauty and elegance. Vi wanted to be similar to her cousin and tried her best. However, when she turned fourteen her father got a better job in England as a healer. Without hesitation the family moved to Manchester and settled there. Violette let Fleur know that she was going to attend a school called Hogwarts. The eldest Delacour told her all about it, especially she participated in the Triwizard Tournement. That got Vi eager to attend the school.
When Violette arrived at Hogwarts, she was amazed by its beauty. She knew that she was going to love it there, not knowing her destiny at the castle. Miss Devereux got sorted into Ravenclaw...She wasn't surprised at all her mother was in Ravenclaw and her father in Slytherin. She was bound to get in either one of the houses. During her fourth year at Hogwarts school passed pretty much fast and Violette made many friends. It was her second home, she couldn't wait in the summer to go back and relive the experience. Once her sixth year started...almost everything changed.
For instance, Violette finally got in the quidditch team as a chaser and captain. Fortunately, it hasn't affected on her grades. Vi still manages to get O's and E's. However, there is pressure. Her parents are pressuring her to get good grades which isn't helping her. Sometimes, Violette stays up late and doesn't get much sleep from worrying too much. However, thanks to her friends which have been helping her to relax every now and then.
