Past:
Daniel was born in London to his two proud parents. His father, was of course out on the open seas when he was born. Just like he would be for many more years to come. For the first few years of his young life, it was always just Daniel and his mother. His mother had a job as a banker but had to quit due to not being able to afford to have a babysitter around all of the time.
The age of six was the first time Daniel could remember seeing his father. Almost a spitting image of himself of his father. Daniel and his mother would find out the next day that their father was home to stay. The happy family lived in their small London home before moving to a much bigger home 2 years later. It was then that everything started to change.
Daniel's father had changed in such a short time. He went from the father who was just happy to be around his son, to the father who scolded him for everything, and wanted to mold him into a spitting image of himself. The Commander of the Royal British Navy. From then on, Daniel was woken up early, drilled every morning, barely had lunch, and was taught only to care about the next job. And of course always being your best, giving a hundred and ten percent all of the time.
Hogwarts came knocking 3 years later when Daniel turned eleven. His father was so shocked, he had no idea. His mother of course, was overjoyed. She hadnt told her muggle husband of where she was really from or went to school. And she planned to keep it that way from her husband and son. Playing it off as complete shock, she fooled her husband. Daniel's father immeadetly said no, but after weeks of talking and arguing, he finally gave in and allowed him to go to the school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Every year at Hogwarts was almost the exact same. Early wake ups and runs through the yard, classes in which he always payed maximum attention. Another run through or Quidditch practice in the evenings and then homework in the evening. The only difference between each year was Daniel was one year older, and one year stronger. This year would be no different. Or so he thought.
Sample Roleplay(At least two paragraphs & of your character):
The early morning ritual was the same, the same old, same old for Daniel. Being permitted to leave the building right when he was allowed. Stepping out of the giant doors and starting down the stairs at a light jog to get warmed up. Then around the yard for ten laps. This morning was a bit warmer then usual though, the sweat was going to start pouring off of him only after a lap or two.
The first two laps went down easily as Daniel started to speed up and got at a sprint. The next 8 laps would fly though. Daniel was naturally fast and naturally strong so he would finish these quickly. The sweat started to drop down his face as he ran. Seven laps down, eight laps down, they flew right by until he was finished and standing in front of the doors once again. Daniel never really kept track of his time, but it seemed like today was faster then normal. Shrugging, he took a few deep breathes. A big rush of wind whipped by his body, refreshing him almost immeadetly.
It was when he felt completely cooled down a few minutes later he heard voices of people whispering around the building to his left. Only a few times had anyone ever come outside this early in the morning. Whipping around, Daniel looked to see it was who would see him out so early, and what possible questions they would ask him.
