Hermione was born to her parents, both muggle dentists. It was a surprise when she got her Hogwarts letter and found out that she was a witch. None the less, her parents have been there for their daughter and support her in everything. She was excited to be going to Hogwarts. Though, her peers quickly got annoyed with her knowledge. She first met Harry and Ron on the train when she was helping a boy find his lost toad.

Ron and Harry, at first, grow a dislike for Hermione. Just thinking that she was a know it all like everyone else. That quickly changed though, when Ron and Harry find Hermione in the girls bathroom and a troll standing there. Saving her, Hermione thanks them and their friendship starts. In their second year together, Hermione becomes one of the victums of the Basilisk. after the opening of the Chamber Of Secrets but was recovered from being petrified. All thanks to Ron and Harry for once again saving the day.

In her third year, Hermione was given permission to use a Time Turner in order to get to her classes, as she had taken more than anyone else. It wasn't until later on in the year that she and Harry use the Time Turner to go back and save Sirius Black from the Dementor's kiss as well as Buckbeak from death. Hermione became an advocate for the better treatment of house-elves, forming the association S.P.E.W., in her fourth year. In that same year, Hogwarts held the Triwizard Tournament where she met Victor Krum. She was his date to the Yule Ball and have become good friends. Writing to him over the summer.

In their fifth year, Hermione was the one who pushed Harry to form Dumbledore's Army and even helped him out by coming up with ways to get people and still keep it all a secret. Now that she is in her fifth year, she has started to have new feelings for Ron. At least, they are coming more to the surface now. She's not sure what to really think about it. All she know's is that Ron is just irritating her more now and that she's finding herself getting just a little jealous at times.

Personality:

Hermione is level headed, book smart and is very good with logic. She is often bossy yet very loyal and conscientious. She never strays off the path; she always keeps her attention focused on the job that must be done. Deep down though, there is some vulnerablility and insecurity. Because of that, she tries to do her best in everything and puts off a false confidence which to most, is irritating. Hermione has an extremely compassionate side and is always quick to help others, especially those who are defenceless. Hermione is also very protective of her friends and values them so much. All in all, Hermione is a good hearted person. Always there for her friends, no matter what.

Sample Roleplay(Of the Character you are playing):

Hermione sat in the Gryffindor Common room, a book in from of her as well as a quill and some paper. It was late and she was tired but she had wanted to get it done so she wouldn't have to worry about it the next day. It was Saturday and she wanted to be able to relax at least a little, with her friends Ron and Harry. When she finished, she smiled and closed her book. As she lifted her head, she looked around and found that she was the only one left in the common room.

Moving, she gathered all the rest of her things and placed them into her bag. Stretching, she yawned and then grabbed her bag, placing it on her shoulder. As she made her way up to the Girls Dorm, she set her things down at the end of her bed and changed into her pj's. Taking a seat on her bed, Hermione closed the curtains and pulled out her wand, lighting up the small area and then pulled out one of her books and read a little. Soon fast asleep.

When morning came, she woke to find that she was the only one left in the dorm. Throwning her covers off herself, Hermione went and changed into her clothes and grabbed her jacket and one of her bags and headed down into the common room and out into the hall. A smile on her face when she saw Ron and Harry standing in the Entrance Hall waiting for her. Sorry I'm late. She said and turned, walking with them outside.
