Sara-May didn't look like Sara-May no.. she looked like a off white and blonde kitten. Someone had decided taking her shoes or making fun of her behind her back wasn't enough. The teacher was late and some of the students thought they practice magic a bit. Now here she was liking her paw as she sat in the chair. The little yellow off white pale kitten then jumped up onto the table to get away from the slytherins hands . Biting one of them as they tried to grab her, she moved across the table , jumped down and went towards where she thought could be safe.

Daniel almost took the last hallway at a run, he had never been late before and this was not going to be a first. Turning towards the door, he almost slipped and fell right into it. Getting a few laughs from some of the people who turned to see, Daniel ignored them and went towards his seat. Something caught his eye though, a cat was running around the classroom, obviously being chased by some of the immature Slytherin students. Oh how he hated the Slytherins.
Sometimes it was ok to tease and joke, but this, this was a little bit to far. A student, being tortured by their peers. Letting out a sigh, he decided it would probably be best to help out the fellow student. Setting his book in his seat, Daniel reached for his wand and immedeatly pointed it towards the one whom looked like the ringleader of the bunch. "Tarantallergra" He said waving his wand a bit. The Slytherin started to dance, a few of the kids started to laugh until the boys sidekicks glared them down. "You touch them again. And you three will be going on a dance show." He said with a small smile. Pointing his wand at them both, the stepped away from their still dancing friend.
Sitting down, Daniel knew they wouldnt make the next move. At least not yet.

She followed the ravenclaw around ,confidently. If you didn't know she was human, she would look like a kitten that just found something intriguing. The boy did have a loose thread.. and as the kitten took a hold of her she moved after the thread, swipping at it. She got bored of it and meowed to get the Ravenclaws attention. Yes, he did something brave, but they would either get him back later, or take it out on her when he was gone.

Daniel moved into his seat and waited patiently for class to start. Out of the corner of his eye he could see the kitten following him around. More then likely just playing around, but he didn’t really have a clue. Watching the kitten swat at him he turned his head and watched a bit intrigued now. Were they trying to get his attention, or maybe this really was a cat? Were his exact thoughts. Turning his head back towards the Slytherins who seemed to be racking their brains for the spell that would fix their still dancing friend. Daniel knew the spell, but there was no way he was going to fix it, at least not yet. These Slytherins would retaliate later, and he knew it. That was just the way they worked. Keeping his eye on them, he turned his head back to the kitten and smiled a bit. He was pretty proud of his work.

She continued to meow as she moved towards the slytherins that were dancing. She wanted it to stop, but obviously she couldn't tell him to stop it because of the students turning her into a cat. The cat sat down infront of the dancing slytherins and looked back towards the ravenclaw, she continued to meow. Then her head turned a little to the side as she stopped meowing.

Making sure to keep an eye on the cat, Daniel watched to make sure the Slytherins did not do anything. Glaring at them each time to make sure he got his point across that he meant business. He watched as the cat moved in front of the dancing boys and started meowing. That had to be some sort of message to him. Maybe the cat was tired of the boys dancing. "Er." He thought to himself, quickly trying to remember the spell to fix them. "Ah." Daniel said to himself finally remembering the spell. "Finite Incantatem" He said out loud, and the Slytherin. "Now fix the girl unless you'd rather dance again." He said pointing his wand at them.

The syltherins decided to put her back to normal, luckily when she turned back she was wearing clothes. She was in the middle of liking her paw when she was transfered so she was linking her wrist/back of her hand when she was turned. She stopped closed her eyes, moved her head a bit and blinked. She brushed herself off, her hands going over the short skirt and top she was wearing. Though she was in clothes, the first layer, the robe had somehow managed to disappear when being returned to normal. It was when she was brushing her selfo f that she realized she didn't have her robe on. Looking around, she saw it on the ground where she was standing when they turned her into a kitten. Moving over towards it. "Do you mind..?" her voice was soft, with a southern touch. Her eyes moved towards the near by slytherin boy, who then leaned down to get it and handed it to her. Guys judged her on her looks in a robe and the way she acted.. but once they saw what she really looked like when not in robes, they tried to get close to her. Then once they new she could be a bit spacey like they backed off again. "Thank you" She gave a warm smile and turned around, holding the robe in her arm. As she walked back towards her books, she slipped the robe over her clothes as she came face to face with the Ravenclaw that helped her. "Thank you.." She gave a warm smile, both on her lips and then in her eyes. Her voice always seemed calming, soft even if there was hints of happiness in it. Also her southern accent seemed to stick out at this school, though there were kids from all areas of the world.

Daniel watched the boy until he turned the cat back into a human, and when he did, Daniels eyes opened wide. It was a very gorgeous girl that they were teasing. And again, like every other time he looked at a girl, his father's voice came ringing in his head. "They will only hurt you, wait until your life is started boy." With that, Daniels head turned back to his desk as he waited for the teacher to show up. He knew the thanks was coming, and he was dreading the moment. Daniel had to be himself and be a jerk to the girl to drive her away. Like every other time.
Hearing the words and looking out the corner of his eye he could see her standing there. "Its no problem, just thought I would be nice." He said waving her off. "Class is going to start soon." He said in a low voice, almost like he was forcing it out of his body. It was at that moment the teacher walked in and looked around the class. Saved. He thought to himself.

She just smiled warmly, not thinking of how he had replied. To her most people treated her like she was a freak. Yes she had personality similiar to Luna, whoever luna was, she learned not to care about what the others said and just was herself. She was normal like everyone else, got angry like everyone else but she didn't show it. She learned to get over things pretty qquickly. But htere would be times, rare times that you wouldn't want to mess with the girl... or you'd regret it. She simply smiled and gave a slight nod of her head. Taking her books. She moved to sit down two rows infront of the ravenclaw bow that decided to help her. "good morning professor" She smiled, the light southern accent slipping from her lips.

Daniel looked up at the girl as she walked away to her seat. Watched her say hello to the teacher. See was starting to seem like quite the suck up type to him. As the teacher started talking, all he could think of was how much it took for those Slytherin kids to pick on a girl all by herself. His anger was slowly building up until he heard his name called on. "Sorry Professor." He looked up, now wondering how they could always tell who wasnt paying attention. The rest of the class for Daniel was rather boring but spent paying close attention. Learning about the proper wrist work and how disastorous it could be. As the class ended, a sigh came from Daniel as he moved from his seat quickly, needing some air.

As class started, she payed atention. Her head moving from looking to the professor to the quill in her hand which was taking notes. As class ended. She sat there for a moment finishing up her notes. The professor then called her name and her head moved to look up. "Yes.." She asked if everything was going alright with her classes. "Fine.. I guess.. " Then the professor asked about her brother says ' Must be excited about your brother subbing divination this week.." Apparently this professor had a crush on her professional quiditch playing brother. she had many brothers, but only one would sub when needed at the school. "Yea.." The conversation continued for a a few more minutes. " I must go.. studying.. that sort of thing" She smiled as she took her books and left out of the doors. Moving down the hall, her eyes spotted the Ravenclaw boy leaning against the wall. She smiled and continued to walk, figuring he wouldn't want to talk to her. Not many guys or even girls wanted to talk to her.

Daniel stopped at the first wall outside of the building and leaned against it breathing heavy. Letting his anger flow out of him quickly. Much better. He thought to himself. It was at that moment the girl he had helped out only a short time ago walked by him. Closing his eyes for a moment, he sighed and shook his head, knowing what he was about to do was very wrong in his fathers eyes. "Hey!" He called out to her and caught up with her in step. "They should not mess with you anymore. Especially after the way they looked at you." He said with a small smile. "Um...anyways. I was just making sure you were okay. That they didnt hurt you or anything." He said keeping his head straightforward, almost walking in a march.

" Hello.." She said calmly, her head turned to look towards him and then forward. "They'll mess with me again.. it's in their nature.. I just seem to have a negative affect on people." Her eyes looked towards Hagrid's huts before looking to the boy once more. "I'm fine.." Her voice was soft and filled with positiveness. "Thank you again... for making them stop dancing.." She cared a bout the slytherins even though they treated her horrible, it was just in her nature. She stopped walking and as she stood there she thought a moment.

Daniel grimaced a little bit at the girls soft voice. It was very hard to just turn her away like he was to everyone else. For some reason it was somewhat drawing. Shaking his head slightly he kept himself in the right state of mind and nodded. "Well, they may think twice next time." He said shrugging. The girls next words confused him a little bit. Did she like the Slytherin kids teasing on her? Saying thank for stopping? Again shaking his head he glared and straight ahead and started to fill a bit with anger again. "They deserved every bit of what they got, and maybe even more." He said his voice deepening again. As she stopped, Daniel kept walking a few feet before noticing she stopped. Turning around he looked back to her confused. "Is everything okay?" He asked his voice lightening again.

"Your speaking to me..." She looked down towards the ground, looking towards her bare feet. Looking back up, she looked around and then back towards Daniel . " Maybe I should go.." She didn't know why he was talking to her, no one really talked to her. She could get along with two or three other people only one of them being around a guy. She didn't know what she'd say if she continued to walk with the boy. It was something new. "You must not know .. basicly no one talks to me."
