[Emmaline Lily-Rose Jones]

Emmaline was sitting up in her dorm when she wrote the last few words to her potion essay down and sighed. She was happy to finally be done. Closing her book, Emmaline gathered her things and placed them all neatly on top of her trunk and then made her way down to the common room. Looking around, she bit her lower lip. It was so loud, you could barely hear the person talking next to you. Making her way out into the hall, she just walked around, thinking to herself for a while before she finally made her way over to the astronomy tower.

No, Emmaline wasn't going to class. She was heading to the Astronomy Tower to think and just get away from all the crazyness that was going on in the common room. When she got to the top, Emmaline let a small sigh escape her lips. She had been so busy with getting all of her work done for class that she spent most of her Saturday in the common room. She was glad to finally get away. Even if it was dark out now. Smiling a small smile, she brushed her hair behind her ear and just moved to take a seat on the floor. It was then though, that she had stopped and turned. Hearing footsteps getting closer and closer. Wondering who it was.

Ares sighed, annoyed by the kids in his common room. All that they talked about was Voldemort and pretty much nothing else. He loved the topic as much as anyone else, but he was bored. He thought about sneaking off to Hogsmeade again, but was starting to get bored with that as well. Not the drinking, but just the sitting there and drinking. He wanted something to do. Possibly someone to do. He walked around the corridors for a while, just thinking to himself.

He ran his hands through his messy brown hair and made his way up the astronomy tower. It was sometimes nice up there. Mostly no one ever went up there except for classes or for a late night.... love making. He had had a few conquests up here himself. He grinned to himself as he openned the door. There was the girl he had met at The Three Broomsticks. She was still just as innocent and pretty looking. "Well hello there, beautiful," He said from behind her.

A small smile appeared on her face when she saw the man from the Three Broomsticks walk up behind her. Turning so her back was once again towards him, she let her hands move from her pockets and gently rest down by her sides. Hello. She said in a soft tone. Her chest slowly moving up and down as she breathed, her heart beating just a little faster.

What brings you up here? She asked, turning her head towards him. Her deep blue eyes locking with his as she once again gave a small smile. Turning fully towards him, she let her back rest against the wall behind her.

Ares really quite liked this girls smile. It was sweet... and it made her adorable. And her eyes were a perfect blue. A good girl at heart, he could tell. He smirked at her and walked up towards her slowly, his eyes scanning over her. "I'm just taking a night stroll. Glad I met you up here. I was getting quite lonely, to be honest." He said as he walked up beside her and mimicked her, putting his back against the wall.

Emmaline watched as he walked over and did the same thing she had. Let his back rest against the wall. Looking down at her feet, she gently bit her lower lip, listening to him as he explained why he was out and about. Yeah? She said in a soft tone. Sometimes, well most of the time, I'll come out here to think or, sometimes I'll go to the empty class room. She said and just looked around. Moving her hand, she accidently brushed it against his and just let it fall back down by her side. Her cheeks a light shade of pink.

Ares turned and leaned his shoulder against the wall, facing Emmaline. "Yeah... those are usually the places I go to 'think' too." He said, holding in a little laugh. He smiled and brushed a strand of hair off of her shoulder. It was soft. She looked so soft. He sighed and folded his arms from doing something else to her. He had to take this slowly. Not jump her bones. "So I hear you're head girl. I was right. You are smart," He smirked and winked. "Surely you must have some genius boyfriend thats looking for you. You are far too pretty not to." He said in a menacing voice. "Not that it would matter to me." He shrugged.

Yeah...I guess I'm smart. I mean, I just study a lot and practice my spells when I can. Just like every other ravenclaw or student. She said as she looked up at him. Her gaze locked on his face as he brushed a strand of hair off of her shoulder. Yeah, I'm head girl. Kind of has it's perks at times. She said and smiled. It was true. When he asked about a boyfriend, Emmaline just shook her head lightly. Nope. No guy. No one's ever really taken interest enough to be more than a friend. She said and shrugged her shoulders a little. What about you? You must have some...hot girlfriend just waiting for you to go and meet her.

Ares raised an eyebrow at her and smiled, listening intently. "Yeah..my sister is more of the studying....get good grades... don't get in trouble type. I'd say that she'd love you but she doesn't really like anyone to be honest," He said with a laugh. It was true, his sister was a bit intense. Especially lately. "I'm sure it does have some perks," he nodded. "No one in their right mind would give me any authority," he shrugged. "I can't say I don't blame them."

He shook his head as she asked if he had any girls waiting for him. "Nah...to be honest, I'm sort of sick of the 'hot girls'. They're all superficial and not very easy to talk to. Unlike you. Of course, you're hot. Way too hot to be in Ravenclaw, I'll tell you that," He added.

Emmaline listened and gave a small nod of her head as he mentioned his sister. Yeah, like the prefects bathroom, prefects dorm and all that. Being able to wander the halls without getting into trouble. She said and smiled. Not that she wandered the halls at night besides doing checks. Letting Her hand rest in the back pocket of her jeans, she just leaned against the wall a little. Her cheeks turning a shade of red when he said that she was way to hot to be in ravenclaw.

Really now? She said in a soft tone. Looking around the area, she then looked back at him, relizing now that it was way past cerfew. Mmm...you know I could give you detention for being outside the common room after cerfew? She said, a small smile on her face as she looked upa t him.
