Jordyn had stayed after class, telling her friends she'd meet up with them in a little while. She had gotten her test back and was disappointed to see that she had failed. It didn't make since. She had studied so hard to make sure that she had passed and she hadn't. She worked hard on all of her assignments and she never did good on them. Yeah, she knew that this class was a little different than all the others but still...she didn't get why she kept on doing so terrible all the time.
Standing, she gathered her bag and picked up her test, walking to the front of the room. Professor? she said, stopping just a few steps away from his desk. I was wondering....how did I not pass the test? I studied for it since I knew we were going to have it.. she said and then adjusted her bag on her shoulder.

"Yes.." He replied to the girls voice, looking up from the desk, his hand stopped moving and with it the quil that rested in it. He placed on his glasses with his right hand as he reached out with his left hand to take the test. He had been subbing for the class now for three days now. He exhailed, then looked up to the student before looking back down. He looked over the test and then back towards the student. " You seemed to have gotten the write idea, just mixed them up" He hadn't been theone to give the test, the regular professor had. " It's probably due to the complex definitions she gave you.. A lot of things, seem like the other, it's very easy to get mixed up. " He looked back towards the student, giving a warm smile and allowing it to fade from his face. Not everyone lived with a smile on their faces. He placed his glasses in the desk drawer and handed the girl back her test. " based on the notes your professor left me, this one test won't do any harm to your grade."

Jordyn listened to him and let a small sigh escape her lips as he looked at her test and then back up at him. But this isn't the first test I've failed... She said. I barely pass the assignments handed out and no matter how hard I study or try to understand everything, I just can't. She said and then adjusted her book which she held in her hand. Taking the test back as he handed it to her, she placed it on top of her book. Is there anything I can do to bring my grade up? I have to get it up. She said.

He thought about it for a moment. " I will probably be here fora week or so.. I'll offer homework assignments every day. Each will have an extra page more than usualy .That page will be bonus if done. Ontop of it I will give bonus for going beyond just the basics to answer any questions. All homework will be straight out of the book, word for word." He loved muggle school supplies, it made him happy. If he and Sara-May ever went to the store, they'd always end up in the school supply section. He would have to deal with the professor when she got back, he knew full and wlel she didn't give bonus, but he had noticed that the Ravenclaw infront of him wasn't the only one not doing to well .They'd mostly pass including the girl infront of him, but he was once a Ravenclaw and new how important grades were to Ravens. "You know your not the only one.. that is doing bad.. Hopefuly my teaching style might give you a few other ideas of how to break this stuff down, for when she comes back. " He smirked. "I use to be a ravenclaw, I loved Divination, but couldn't follow the teacher, didn't complain just figured out how to take what she said scramble it up and put it back to gether in a way i saw fit. It takes a while longer to do for Divinations than the other courses." He was just as talkative as his sister, just as weird, but there were big differences. His sister was very close to discovering she was a seer and he would never be. She hated to fly, fast thing and he loved it. He loved to play qudditch when he was going here. his mind ran through past events in just a split second. He blinked his eyes as he looked back towards Jordyn. " If you ever need to go over anything.. while i'm here, even if I'm here to sub a different class, I'd be happy to help."

Jordyn nodded her head as she listened to him. She was going to have to do her best on all of these assignments and the extra work. Jordyn had always cared about her classes and the grades that she got. This was the first time she had failed anything and she didn't like it. Divination is the one class that I've ever failed. I've always passed my other classes. I love Charms and DADA. Always been good at those classes. She said and gave a small smile as she looked up at him. Jordyn loved learning knew spells and charms. She was more book smart than anything. Good with spells. Divination though? Not so much. As he continued to talk, Jordyn nodded her head and gave a small smile as she looked up at him. Thank you. She said and went to head towards the door.

He gave a warm smile back towards her ,it was hard not to. She had this ora about her that was inviting. He watched her head to the door. " Hold on, I'll walk out with you.. " He was heading towards the Kitchen to grab something to eat, and bring back to the classroom. He could use magic, but he decided not to. Magicaly getting food was tricky, because it never tasted the same and easiest way to get food poisoning. He needed to excercise anyway. It helped clear his mind for a bit. He placed the tests of the students that didn't show to class in the drawer along with the lesson he was working on, then locked it. Placing the key in the pocket of his black robe, boy did he not miss wearing these robes. He moved towards his student. "Ok.." he stated "signalling to walk. " Which way are you heading?" He liked to get to know his students, even if he was just a sub. He taught like ap rofessor, was strict and most sutdents respected him, but there was a level of connection between him and his students because of the age gap. He was only 26, so it wasn't like he had been out of school for 20 years. This allowed him to relate more with his students, so that outside of subbing, he was more like a friend or brother to them.

Okay. She said with a small nod of her head and then waited for him as he got ready to walk out out her. When he asked her where she was heading, she thought about it a moment. she hadn't really thought of where she wanted to go after class. Was thinking of just dropping off my books in the common room and then maybe heading to the Great Hall or the Library. Usually the three places I hang the most except for the weekends. She said and smiled. Opening her messenger bag as she walked, she placed her book into her bag, along with her test and then continued to walk with him.

"I was the same way.. " He smirked as he continued to walk with Jordyn down the staircase of the tower. He looked over the railing, heights didn't do anything to him, like it would with his siter, but stairs.. He hated stairs, always had , always will. His hand ran along the railing making sure he wouldn't trip. Great Quidditch player, but on the ground he had been known to trip over his own feet. He inhailed then slowly exhailed. "Well if you want some company along your way to your common, I'm heading towards the kitchens." He yawned due to the fact he had a long night, his eyes straight ahead of him as he walked, he tried not to look at the steps.

Jordyn smiled when he said that he was the same way. She continued down the stairs and made her way down the stairs as he walked with her. That would be nice. She said with a small nod. Jordyn had never really cared for walking by herself. It always got boring. she liked having someone to talk to between classes, which was why she was glad that she had most of her classes with her friends. When they go to the bottom of the stairs, she turned to head towards the Ravenclaw common room, humming softly to herself a little.

When they got closer to the Ravenclaw Portrait. He decided to stay back, he knew if the portrait would see him, that he'd be trapped in a very long conversation , starting with congrats on everything he has done and then turning to all about what the portrait had been up to. He took another deep breath, 'stupid stairs' he stated in his head. "I'll see you next class." He gave a warm smile and then continued down to the Ground Floor, where he might find the kitchens.

Thank you! Jordyn said and waved as he walked off. Giving the portrait the password, Jordyn stepped inside and then set her things down in the girls dorm and then headed back out to go to the Great Hall. Humming softly as she let her hands rest in the pockets of her pants and just relaxed.
