He didn't find himself handsome, he found himself looking a bit weird. HE thought his patronus looked better than him and it was a wolf. HE smirked watching her try to get out of his grips. "Well if you put it that way.. I guess i'll have too.. put you.." HE smirked and threw her into the lake HE had a wide smile on his face. "OH you know I had to do it." He backed away from the edge of the lake, so that she couldn't get a hold of his ankles to drag him in. INfact he tooka few steps back, to where he was far enough away from the lake that he figured she wouldn't even dare try to drag him back to the lake to get her revenge. HIs eyes turned over his shoulders to look at the girls who were now looking to see what had happened. Obvious oblivious that he had been the one to put her in the water, they wer trying to figure out what was happening, he could tell by the look on their faces. He looked back towards the lake. She'd get her revenge. He knew her very well to know she'd get him back, somehow.

Joey was thrown into the lake with a huge splash, going right under the water. She gasped as she came up for air. He thought that she was going to drag him in? Oh no...that was not Joey fashion. She was much more clever and creative than that. She began to swim around and watch him. "You're gonna get it, Simon!" She said with a smile. "You should get in though. Seriously it feels actually pretty nice." She said, acting like she had forgiven him. She rolled her eyes as he looked at the other girls behind him. They were all looking at them like they were crazy. She threw an evil glare at Cho Chang for a few minutes, and then she went on with her plan.
She began looking around. "Ew...except for the weeds that keep going around my legs." She said with a disgusted look on her face. Suddenly, Joey began flailing her arms everywhere in panic, and bobbing her head in and out of the water.
"Oh my god...." She screamed and actually formed 'real' tears. "SIMON! HELLP!" She bobbed her head more and went under for a few minutes, being a fairly good swimmer and able to hold her breath for long periods of time. You could see her flailing her legs and arms as if she were panicing underneath. She came back up for only a few minutes to say, "SOMETHINGS GOT MY LEG! I THINK ITS THE GIANT SQUID!" She yelled and went under again.

"The Giant squid is my friend his names Bob... " He remarked as he moved over towards the other girls. 'well hello.. ladies.." He smirked and looked from Cho to the others. Then heard his friend scream again. 'Sorry ladies I'll be right back." He ran towards the lake . Taking his shoes off and socks then his robe and t-shirt before jumping into the water. Picking the girl up out of the water, He had one hand on his best friends back and the under under her knee caps. " YOU wanted me.. here I am.. that squid seems to be no where in site.. should I invite him back to our little gathering.." He smirked and dropped her back into the water again, waiting for her to come to the service before talking "You realize it is very, very dangerous to be swimming in the lake.. I don't think the creatures like it that much.".

Joey pouted in disappointment as Simon walked over to the Gryffindors and cheesily tried to flirt with them. THAT'S probably why they look at you funny. She smirked to herself as she watched Simon come back, removing half of his clothes, which she had to hide a slight blush. She continued to be fake attacked. Then Simon jumped in and 'saved her' by picking her up. She wrapped one of her arms around his neck and looked at him a little speechless and then gathered her thoughts again. "Yeah... maybe he can teach you how to flirt," She retorted after he dropped her back in the water and she splashed him playfully. She went to the edge and pulled herself out of the water.
Her robes were ruined and her converses were squeaking as she walked. "I should kill you! My poor shoes...." She grumbled and stayed far from the edge in case he decided to pull her in with him. She removed her robe and tried to rinse out her hair. She was a thin girl, but years of flying and quidditch had kept her body quite fit. She still looked like a child in the face. She leaned against the tree and waited for Simon to come back out.

He smiled watching her walk onto shore. HE floated in the water for a bit then got otu of the water. Running his hand through his hair. He moved to pick up his shirt and placed it out. Picking up his robe, he then placed his socks in his shoes and walked over towards her. "Actually, when I was going to get you.. I found out a possible reason for that.. heard one of them say "I think that's his girlfriend.. and another one said he's such a ... just fill in the blank.." The girls probably thought he was far enough out of reach and their voices were low enough, but he could make it out. Running a hand through his hair, Simon watched Joey. "IF it makes you feel better Joey, I think Cho was totally jealous.." He smirked , of course he couldn't justify that comment. BUt he figured telling her someone she didn't like was agitated might make her happy.

Joey watched for a second as Simon walked out of the water and glanced away quickly. She laughed and noting that their behavior for each other could lead girls to be jealous. Joey removed her shoes and socks, sighing and looking up at him again. "Thats a possibility too," She said with a smile and maybe a bit of a blush. The thought of her being his girlfriend was a bit... interesting...but she didn't linger on the thought so much.
"Well then maybe you should stop throwing me in the Lake so much," She said with a cheeky grin. Her grin widened at the thought of Cho being jealous. Of course, she knew he was probably just trying to make her feel better. "Uh huh...sure. Why would Cho Chang be jealous of me?" She asked in disbelief. Joey always had a habit of being overly modest. Most of the time, compliments only made her suspicious.

"Too much fun, to give that up." HE smiled warmly. HE wasn't sure what he really should say. HE tried not to blush and did his b best not to lead on to his liking her. He was trying to get it out of his head the idea of telling her his feelings. No, he needed to find someone else to ask out and soon. Maybe if he could get fixed on someone else. was fixed really the proper term. He closed his eyes for a moment. "Nevermind maybe i was wrong, maybe shes planning to steal me away from you.. my apparent girlfriend." He rolled his eyes and then sat down under the tree, putting his things besides him . "You going to sit ? Your standing makes me a bit nervous."

Joey sighed and sat down indian style next to him and looked at him with a smile. "Well I tried," She said. She crossed her arms and blinked at him for a seconds. There was something odd happening with her....because of him... and it was just not something she had felt about him before. He didn't feel that way anyways. If she told him....and he said something about going after Cho...she'd be an emotional wreck. What was she thinking? Told him what? She shook her head from the confusing thoughts and breathed in a deep breath.
His comment about Cho trying to steal him from her was too much for her to bare. "Not if she doesn't want a punch in the nose!" She said a little loudly. Joey hadn't meant to let that slip, so instead she faked a joking smile. She sighed and shook her head in disgust with herself.

He rose an eyebrow with a serious look on his face at her outburst. He then allowed it to go away and replaced it with a smirk and a shake of his head. "I'd never go out with Cho.. "He replied putting an arm around her, his hand on her shoulder, he pulled her towards him and allowed her to bounce back to sitting in the manner she had before. He moved his arm and took his hand that use to be on her shoulder to mess up her hair. "She's not my type.. she's ok to look at for a little.. but besides that.." He kept his eyes on his friends face. "Maybe I should get you back to your quarters.. so you can dry off. If you catch a cold, you'd only try to give it to me.. and well.. we wouldn't want that would we.."

Joey cursed herself under her breath and shook off her outburst. She was happy that Simon didn't seem to have a thing for Cho Chang. She could handle him being with... anyone... but her. Actually, the thought of him being with someone made her feel lonely. Joey hugged him back tight until he let her go to her original position. She hadn't realized how cold she was until he let her go. She squinted her eyes as he messed up her hair which was probably a frizzy mess right now. "Warm clothes sound....warm.... then we can go get lunch. I'm starving." She said, listening to her stomach growl.

He smiled with a soft laugh. "Want to be a huffle puff for a bit?" He stated offering his robe for her to use. He placed it back down on the side of him. He placed an arm around her again and ran a hand up and down her arm. "Better?" He couldn't help but be protective of her, if she was sick he'd feel responsible to take care of her. didn't matter if she was sick or not, he'd still feel like it was up to him to look after her. Though she would say she didn't need someone looking after her. He moved his arm so that he could get to his shoes and socks. Placing them on, he stood up. "Come on.. " Simon warmly smiled towards his friend extending his hufflepuff robe towards her if she wanted to use it like a blanket.

Joey laughed a little at his question. She never cared for houses too much and she had the theory that this is what drove the school apart so much. But, no one listened to her rant about that. She sighed and leaned against him as he wrapped an arm around her. She felt so safe with him. Joey never would admit that, because she was far too stubborn and wanted to take care of herself. But she knew that if she needed him, Simon would be there in a second. The same went for Kennie of course. And she would do the same for them. Joey stood up and draped the large Hufflepuff robes over her shoulder. "Thanks..."

He watched in front foof him, making sure not to step in any ant piles and not to trip on anything. "You know what I'm thinking I'll skip food.." HE was hungry, but not hungry enough. He needed to be away from the girl for abit ,from evryone. He figured he'd go practing with a few Quidditch team mates. His eyes moved towards the Ravenclaw. He woulds till escort Joey towards her quarters, after which he would say something along the lines of 'see you later' and head off to find some Quidditch buddies.
"So..." He stated not sure what to bring up now. To him it felt like maybe they hand been around each other too long. After a while it gets to the point where itfeels like they talked about everything ,even though they had not.

Joey looked up at him concerned. "Are you okay?" She asked, being able to read her best friend better than anyone. She hoped that she hadn't said anything to upset him. If he didn't want to hang out with her, she'd just go to Kennie. Joey felt that a girls night was what she needed actually. Gossip, music, dancing around, junk food.
She sighed and linked her arm in his again. "Are you afraid I'll beat your butt at the Quidditch game soon?" She said with a playful smirk. They were both seekers, but they never let that come between them. If anything, it was just fun. "I'm captain this year so maybe we'll take the Quidditch Cup," She said hopefully.

"no.. I'm not worried." He moved his eyes from the ground, to the group of girls as they passed them to get back to the castle. He smiled for a moment. "I'm sure you'll do well." He loved quidditch, but he tried not to take it too seriously. He had done it before, and well the outcome was not that great. It cause him to go into that agressive mode, which he tries to avoid. SImon was a dark person. Not dark enough to go to the dark side, He who must not be named side. His normal dreams were everyone elses nightmares. So imagine what his nightmares were like. He never talked to Joey about it. One thing about Joey, she wasl ike his safety blanket. She would never realize what she did for him. Around her, he seemed to be calm.. No thoughts of wanting or longing to hurt someone. He was calm and warm. If he ever felt like he really needed to hit someone.. he'd think about Joey and the feeling would die down to a level he could control.
"Well miss captain.. I'm sure you'll woop my arse." They gt to the castle doors. Opening them, he walked inside first. His eyes adjusting to the difference in lighting.
